My perspective as an author is shaped by being a deep listener interested in who you are, what moves you, what makes you feel connected and safe.
It shows up in my stories, in my day-to-day.
I’m also a technologist, a futurist analysing how the world is changing and how to cope with it.
When I’m not writing or painting, you’ll find me in my garden or travelling, taking photos of everyday things and people, gathering moments and the seeds of stories to tell. Someday I’d like to do a woodworking course.
And I drink too much tea. English Breakfast with milk, stirred with a teaspoon. Makes everything better.
My Voice
Think of that truth you already know but cannot hear amidst the noise: Quiet. Powerful.
Sometimes my words are like a mirror that lets you see. Or they hold a space for you, so you can hear.
Broken is not forever. And your innerverse is strong.

Writing Style
My writing is about movement, our rich innerverses shaping our actions and the lives we live.
My stories are meant to be enjoyed.
I also want to make readers feel heard as they read, that some aspect of them is being reflected in my characters as they struggle, or stay still in their sorrow or peace, or figure out their way forward.
Inspirations
If I were a cake, I’d say I’m a crime thriller fan at my base: fast paced, atmospheric noir, cosy mysteries, I don’t discriminate.
Add generous helpings of feel-good romantic comedy on top for lightness of the soul.
In the middle, layer in supernatural or science fiction backdrops for very human relationships—families under pressure, impossible mysteries with clever protagonists, love that endures, and ordinary people facing extraordinary choices.
And epic stories of triumph over adversity. We all need that.
Mother, wife, big sister. Friend, mentor, team leader. Volunteer at a suicide prevention helpline.
I have strong shoulders, a listening ear and words of encouragement for those in need. It took a while, but I’ve learned to give and receive in a way that keeps me balanced.
Books were my lifeline when I was growing up, a lonely child in a busy family. I’m paying it forward, doing what those authors did for me.
I’ve written poetry all my life. As an artist and creator at heart, becoming a novelist has been like following a river to the sea. It feels like a calling.
I hope my words reach other lonely hearts seeking solace in a busy world.
